IABC Tucson Chapter News April 1, 2010

In This Issue:

Preemptive Public Relations May 6
Creating goodwill before the crisis occurs provides you a cushion of trust that can help restore and maintain your company’s reputation. Former chapter president John Brown, director of communications at the University of Arizona, uses case studies drawn from his career in communications, including for an electric utility and real estate, to help you map out a strategy to deal with a crisis before it happens.

New Marketing Materials Extol IABC/Tucson
The chapter debuted new marketing cards and bookmarks that help people understand the profession of business communications and encourage them to learn more through IABC/Tucson.

Members Elena Acoba and Paula Bohte created a two-color card that explains the profession of business communication and suggests that IABC/Tucson can help professionals in their careers. Member Jaime Williams produced a bookmark that lists IABC/Tucson events through the fall.

Any member can have copies for sharing with colleagues and others by requesting them from Juleen Eichinger, eichinger@hotmail.com. You’ll also find them at IABC/Tucson events, including the annual Big C Networking Event June 22 at the Westin La Paloma.
