Congrats to Cactus Quill Award Winner
IABC/Tucson member Michelle Rau has earned a 2010 Cactus Quill Award. She and her team member on the entry “Company Picnic Communications and RSVPs” will receive certificates at a June 2 presentation at her Intuit office.
Come congratulate her at our June 3 informal networking happy hour at Sir Veza’s Taco Garage, 4699 E. Speedway Blvd. Festivities get underway at 6 p.m. It’s free to attend and you pay for your own refreshments. Catch up with fellow IABCers as we raise a glass to Michelle! While RSVPs aren’t required, you can let us know you’re coming or get additional information by e-mailing events@iabctucson.com.
Thanks for Presenting the 2010 Cactus Quill Awards Program
This year’s search for the best practices and talent in business communications was made possible by:
Bohte Design LLC, owned by member Paula Bohte, who designed the marketing materials and certificates and sponsored this year’s program.
Alphagraphics Commercial Print Services, which underwrote the cost of printing publicity cards.
Elena Acoba, who headed the program.
Juleen Eichinger, who worked on marketing and awards.
Sally Sumner for collecting entries.
Michelle Rau, who provided tips on creating a winning entry and meeting space for the January Cactus Quill work session. She obviously knows what she’s talking about!
The members of IABC/Brazos Valley in Texas for judging the entries.
All of those who entered to test their communications projects against best-practices standards
